Rants and raves on (mostly) technology
A man lays cradled in his own arms,
A woman screams for help that does not come,
A child is left abandoned in a strange world.
Every day, I hear and see these kinds of things . . .
They do not give me pride or happiness.
Instead, they fill my heart with anger.
What did they do to deserve these things?
How could the Creator of this world condone such acts?
Where is the justice for the oppressed?
Yes, it is true that living means being vulnerable –
Being receptive to the cosmic life around us.
But, this excuse is not good enough.
Humanity could work ten thousand years for peace,
But in a single heartbeat, all could be lost
To the temptations of chaos and selfishness.
The wise say that polarity is the foundation of life,
That we must embrace birth and death,
Light and dark, pleasure and pain.
If this is true then,
I do not wish to call myself a man,
Nor do I wish to be called human
Because man is in human.
